You may find some common answers when it comes to time and temperature. And while they all work, I find that baking at a lower temperature of 375F keeps the salmon more moist and avoids overcooking. Because let’s be honest, it’s easy to lose track of time when you’re cooking another dish. So, if you overshoot the timer by 1-2 minutes, your salmon will still be cooked perfectly. But, remember the size and thickness of your fillet:

Tip: You’ll know the salmon is cooked when it comes apart easily with a fork. I usually don’t use an instant read thermometer when I cook salmon. But if you want to check twice, the internal temperature should be 125-130 F, for wet salmon, not overcooked.
