Doughnut Recipe Yeast Baked – I’m a bit obsessed with donuts. Since last summer, I have been eating fresh and warm donuts at Duck Donuts, and I, who used to enjoy donuts, have come to like donuts. Last summer I made donuts (S’mores and Maple Bacon) stuffed with fried donuts topped with that recipe. But sometimes I want something less heavy, baked instead of fried, but I don’t want donut cake either. So here are their yeast-based BAKED donuts! You can also use this recipe for stuffed donuts!
After roasting, they can be rolled with cinnamon and sugar or covered with a glaze like fried donuts. They are absolutely versatile and everyone loves them. I think the kids love it more than fried ones! Personally, both have a time and a place. I still like fried.

The dough is easy peasy. I couldn’t find a donut cutter, so I used the set of round grooved cutters I had. But it is better to buy a good donut cutter.
Don’t forget… double size portions are more important than time (and my advice on how to keep track of dough size).

Behold, I got two little donut baking pans from Williams Sonoma Australia and started making donuts.
You might be a bit reluctant because you are a traditionalist. Donuts should be fried, not baked. And that’s fine.

But recently baked donuts have become popular and are attractive because they do not contain yeast, so you don’t have to wait for the dough to rise.
So you can make delicious little round pastries in your hands in a quarter of the time it takes to make yeast donuts.
Or maybe you don’t have a donut fan yet because you don’t want donuts, which are basically donut-shaped cakes.

No Yeast Homemade Donut Recipe
Yes, basically every donut I’ve ever made is a miniature cake recipe. And it’s still fine.
The kids also made it fun. They were totally amazed that they just made donuts.
I found this recipe for baked cinnamon donuts on A Happy Food Dance while Pinterest-ing about donut recipes.
Of course, I could have gone for the odd-flavored donuts and funky-colored icing and lots of thick, uncoiled ingredients piled on top.

Not because the original recipe wasn’t good enough (I may have already made these donuts a couple of times and I can say the original recipe was great).

* I used Vinilla Triple Madagascan Vanilla Bean Paste and added about 1/3 teaspoon. If you have plain vanilla bean paste, use one tablespoon. If you only have vanilla extract, you can use it instead.

* This recipe can also make regular sized donuts. You can adjust the baking time a little more. But watch your donuts to make sure you don’t overcook them.
This yeast-free baked donut recipe is simple and delicious. You don’t even need donut cutters or rolling pins.
It’s no secret that you love baked donuts, fried donuts or donut holes from donut shops like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts, or from local shops like Rise here in Raleigh.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Yeast Donuts
If you want to learn how to make homemade donuts, you are in luck. This recipe is so easy and only uses 4 ingredients before topping!
Shall we make chocolate donuts? or vanilla? Or is it something completely different? This recipe is completely versatile, so it’s up to you.
Make a dough by adding the cake mix and transfer the donut dough into a piping bag. Large zipped bags with cut corners will also work.
Cook until the color of the donuts is a light golden brown and the toothpicks in the donuts are clean.
Gluten Free Baked Donuts Recipe (video!)
If using a cinnamon sugar mixture, grease with melted butter and lightly coat the fluffy donuts while they are still warm.
For all other toppings, for best results, use a wire rack or cooling rack to cool completely before adding glaze and/or sugar.
Mix 1.5 cups confectioner’s sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until smooth. Pour over cooled donuts and let dry.
Use the same amount as the vanilla glaze and add 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Dip one side of the cooled donut to coat it.
How To Make Doughnuts At Home
Transfer about half of the frosting to a microwaveable bowl and melt slightly (about 30 seconds) until soft but not too runny.
Dip one side of the donut, gently whisk the rest from side to side and cool on a wire rack.
After using the glaze or frosting, add a crunchy donut topping like sprinkles, mashed nuts, chocolate chips or bacon before the frosting cools down.
Start with 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cinnamon and adjust to taste. Lightly spread the melted butter on the warm donuts and dip them in the sugar mixture.

I’ve had a lot of great donuts from the shops and bakeries, but none were as fresh or delicious as they came out of my kitchen. 1. Prepare the dough. Heat the milk and butter, then mix with the flour, yeast, sugar, salt and half the eggs. Add the rest of the flour while kneading until the dough is soft, elastic and still sticky but doesn’t stick to your hands.
2. Make the dough rise. Place the dough in a warm place and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Easy Baked Cake Donut Recipe (without Yeast)
3. Roll up and cut into donut shapes. Press lightly on the dough to form a round shape and rest for about 15 minutes. On a floured surface, roll the dough about half an inch thick, then use a donut cutter (or two round cutters of different sizes) to cut the donuts.
4. Place the donuts again. Transfer the cut donuts to a parchment lined sheet pan, cover with plastic, and allow to rise for another 20-30 minutes.
5. Fry in oil. While the donuts are bubbling, heat the oil to 375°F in a thick-bottomed pan (using a thermometer).
