The dough for this pizza bite is tossed with a mixture of olive oil, garlic and rosemary and then topped with three cheeses. They are absolutely divine and were inspired by the Garlic Rosemary Three Cheese Pizza Recipe on the Taste and Tell Blog.

It takes about 3 minutes to cook a pizza crust in the Baby Cake Maker. So it’s fun to use this process for a pizza party. Just get ready and put the toppings in advance and let everyone fill up on their pizza bites. Use the tips below to adapt the recipe and your choice of filling. But, I highly recommend this.

Homemade Cake Pops

Don’t have a cake maker? No problem. Tips for baking pizza bites in the oven include.

Roll out the dough from one 8-oz can of Pillsbury’s all-purpose flour. Press the diagonal slits together a little so that the filling does not come out later. Now, cut the dough into 24 squares. This square is perfect for any type of filling that is about 1 tablespoon in size.

But, I will go over my new favorite: Three Cheese Roses and Garlic Pizza.

Drizzle the olive oil, garlic and rosemary mixture over the dough. You can skip this step or omit the rosemary if you are making a different type of pizza bite.

Pour 1 teaspoon of cheese mixture on each square. Pull the dough around the cheese mixture and form it into a ball. Use the same process for each square. It’s okay if a little cheese comes out, and it will be fine if you use more than 1 tablespoon of the filling. It will just be a little messy. 🙂

If you don’t have a cake pan, then place small balls on a baking sheet or in a small cup bowl and bake for 9 minutes in a 375 degree oven.

There’s a very good reason for just a few bites of pizza. They were delicious.

Confession Tip: On my first try, my pulse felt normal, but my nipples felt like diapers (I’m not even kidding). So, stop trying and try again; I finally learned that the dough needs to be stiff like brownie dough. While it’s a stiff dough, it works like a charm!

Cake cakes can be soft and crispy. So it helps to freeze them before submerging them, so they float more easily. It also helps the candy melts set up quickly, so you can decorate more efficiently and quickly.

You can make them a few days in advance. Like cakes, cake pops can lose their freshness, so I would only make them 1-2 days in advance for the best quality, taste and texture. They should last 1-2 days at room temperature and 5-7 days in the fridge.

Depending on the ingredients used, you can store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days. If you make them in advance or with certain ingredients that require refrigeration, they must go in the refrigerator; before putting them in the fridge, be sure to place them on a paper towel or piece of parchment paper, in a single layer, in an airtight container. Then just take them out of the fridge a few hours before the big event, so they can warm up to room temperature and soften.
