Best Seafood Restaurant Jimbaran Bay – [Bali] A visit to Bali would not be complete without eating seafood at the famous Jimbaran Beach, and the most popular place to eat and drink is probably Menega Cafe.
Jimbaran is a coastal town in Bali surrounded by long beach, calm water, seafood restaurants.
Best Seafood Restaurant Jimbaran Bay
Fear not, the place is on fire, but instead you would expect signs of fresh seafood grilled with coconut shells. (However, be aware that you may inhale more smoke due to the many nearby fish restaurants around.)

You can choose from live lobsters, jumbo prawns, king prawns, crabs, squid, barracuda, sea bass, red snapper, white snapper to kingfishers.
Choose your favorite seafood, tell the person the weight you want and how the product is prepared – it can be steamed, fried or grilled. (If you are worried about the price, please confirm again.)
I did not regret ordering their signature Fried Clams (IDR 65k, SGD 6.50 for 1kg) with fresh clams nicely fried and well seasoned.
This was possibly one of the most appetizing ‘BBQ sauces’ I had in Bali and a tip would be to ask for extra sauce to dip with other dishes.

Another signature on the menu was the King Prawns (IDR 255K per 1kg, SGD 25.50) and if you want more meat you can go for the Jumbo Prawns.
At least it was well seasoned and evenly seared, but nothing made it stand out from a regular fried fish.
The Fried Squid (IDR55k, SGD5.50) was also on the hard side and perhaps not as fresh tasting as I would have liked them to be.
To finish the meal, I ordered a whole coconut (IDR 35k, SGD3.50), although I was disappointed to see that they used a plastic straw (Bali has banned single-use plastics).
Fine Dining Bali Restaurants
Most of the seafood served was fresh and well grilled, plus it’s a great place to relax on the beach with an atmosphere of live music.
If you need a quick bite to eat, I would personally recommend Warung Sakura Seafood just a few shops away. This restaurant is also run by Menega Café, which serves a similar menu (prices, quality no different), but with less smoke and crowds.
