Best Restaurants In Delhi Review – The menu at Delhi’s Chika is inspired by stories from samurai to the travels of sultans and focuses on Asian and Mediterranean cuisine.
Delhi is home to many high-end restaurants and new ones are coming every now and then. Some live a short life and others live in our hearts. Chika is a restaurant that is here for the long haul. The discerning population of Delhi is always looking for new experiences, but we are always looking for opulence, luxury, comfortable surroundings and of course the good. Checka Tick ticks everything off our checklist. The high-octane restaurant had Delhiites looking for a good time and it piqued my curiosity to visit to try it out for myself.
Best Restaurants In Delhi Review
It was a memorable evening. The rain gods provided a momentary respite from the sweltering summer heat, and it was the perfect day to experience Chica’s alfresco dining experience. While the weather put me in a good mood, my spirits lifted the moment I entered the restaurant, which is nothing short of an architectural marvel. An entrance filled with colorful flowers leads to an open French-themed garden, a mix of vegetables and flowers that offers a natural escape in the middle of the chaotic city. The indoor dining room was no less beautiful.

Chika’s menu is inspired by samurai stories dating back to the travels of the Sultans and focuses on Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, highlighting the fusion of the two – Mediterranean!
While I was in awe of the beautiful surroundings, my taste buds thanked me for treating them to amazing food. I started dinner with an intoxicating cocktail (must try – Sunset Boulevard) along with my favorite sushi; To my delight, the Kamikaze came first – a clever combination of salmon, tuna and crab sticks that lends a special flavour. The mango and avocado sushi was quite a surprise – I wasn’t too sure about Alphonso’s sushi, but I really liked it. The sweetness of the fresh mango complemented the creaminess of the avocado. Platter pf dimsum was: Bokchoy Wrapped Chicken, Smoked Pork Gyoza, Sesame Rawn & Caviar, and Gold Leaf Charcoal Scallop & Asparagus. While I enjoyed these dishes, I felt that the bok choy chicken would have been better with more juice. However, the flavors were on point.
Next on my table was the Mint Crispy Lamb with Crispy Lotus Stem – it was so delicious I wanted to lick the whole bowl. Crispy meat with an explosion of balanced flavors – it was just perfect. And that’s why it gets my vote for Chika’s most recommended dish. Edamame Quorma – Delicious Chicken Edamame with Hummus, pita bread is another must try that was mouthwatering.
Luckily, I got the Chef’s Special Pump – Sourdough Pide, which was more of an eye opener. If you think pumpkin on pizza is just a hoax, you need to try the pump at Chika to understand why the concept has made waves. Chef Aditya Grover neutralizes the tartness and sweetness of pumpkin with the strong flavor of goat cheese and chimichurri. Caramelized walnuts lend just the right amount of crunch, and arugula leaves give it a refreshing base. After eating the amazing pizza, my palate rejected the bous served, but then the best was yet to come.

. And I have no hesitation in admitting that this is the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. The bitterness of the Bailey’s and the bitterness of the cacao are toned down to offer a comforting, creamy, sweet treat – and that’s how dessert should be.
Chika’s menu reflects the development of its creative cuisine with all the flavors of the season. This place is not to be missed.
His love of reading about Neha Grover sparked his writing instinct. Neha is guilty because she has a deep attachment to anything that contains caffeine. When he’s not putting his thoughts on the screen, he’s reading while drinking coffee.
