Gwinnett Tech’s Automotive Technology Program is accredited by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation, Inc./Automotive Service Excellence (ASE-NATEF). Our General Automotive program is pleased to offer Nissan Technician Training Academy (NTTA) programs for future Nissan and Infiniti technicians. Students desiring specialized training on Nissan and Infiniti vehicles can do so by enrolling in an undergraduate-level general automotive program and declaring that intent during orientation. Program classes are scheduled day or night on our Lawrenceville campus, and students can begin the program in the fall or spring semesters.

Students who enroll in an automotive technology program train to become automotive service technicians and mechanics, often called service technicians or service technicians, who inspect, maintain, and repair cars and light trucks.
