Automotive Technician Mohawk College – Mohawk College is expanding its commitment to work-integrated learning with the launch of the Performance Drive – OpeningDoors program, a new initiative that provides students and recent graduates with hands-on experience and career preparation to succeed in today’s global economy.

Funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development’s Professional Readiness Fund Auto-Stream, the program offers nearly 600 quality work-integrated learning opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students, apprentices and recent graduates across Ontario. Students from a variety of business, technology and engineering programs have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to high-paying jobs in the automotive and advanced manufacturing industries. Current students may count driving experience toward program placement requirements.

The program benefits Mohawk College students from the Marshall School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeships, the College of Engineering and the McKell School of Business.
