If your iPad covers the problem, you’ll pay out-of-warranty charges unless your iPad has AppleCare+, which covers two accidental damage events. You can use one of these cases for a cracked screen or other damage to your iPad. Each AppleCare+ event has a service fee as indicated.
If your battery needs to be replaced, you can have your iPad repaired or replaced for a fee. If your battery is defective and your iPad is covered by warranty, consumer law or AppleCare+, there is no charge. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal use.

If you have AppleCare+ for iPad, it provides replacement coverage if your iPad battery is below 80 percent of its original capacity.
Apple-branded accessories, including the Apple Pencil, are covered by Apple’s one-year limited accessory warranty. You can have your Apple Pencil battery repaired or replaced for a fee or for free if the battery is defective and covered by warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal use.
Your Apple Pencil is covered under AppleCare+ for iPad, including accidental damage. You can use one of the two accidental damage events in AppleCare+ for iPad to cover your Apple Pencil. Or pay for out-of-warranty service.
The following prices apply if your Apple Watch requires repair or replacement and the problem is not covered by Apple’s limited warranty, consumer law, or AppleCare+. They even if your coverage expires.

Accidental damage is not covered by Apple’s limited warranty. Apple’s warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
If your Apple Watch screen is damaged, you can have your Apple Watch replaced for a fee. If you have AppleCare+, this includes coverage for two accidental events, including screen damage. Each event has a service charge as shown in the AppleCare+ Services section below.
